Video Services of Virginia, Incorporated is a family owned business established in 2006 by Michael and Tammy Gorbett. Michael has been in the consumer electronics service industry for 20+ years. He began his career in 1985 working for Color and Sound, Inc., an electronic service center owned and operated by his parents. He worked for them as a customer service representative and an in-home television technician. After a brief absence in which he trained in the heating and air conditioning industry, he returned to manage Color and Sound, Inc. in 2001. In 2006, Michael left Color and Sound, Inc. to open his own business. He started Video Services of Virginia, Inc. with the help of his wife Tammy. Michael currently serves as the 1st Vice-President of the Virginia Professional Electronics Association (VPEA) and secretary of the VPEA of Tidewater. Their business is a member of the National Electronics Service Dealers Association (NESDA), the premier trade association for professionals in the business of repairing consumer electronics.
